Halloween even falls on a Saturday this year! It would be perfect to go trick-or-treating with the kids and then WHAM BAM go out and paint the town with a terrific Halloween costume and drinks with friends. Unfortunately, with COVID19 things aren't quite the same. Here are a few suggestions on how to keep the Halloween spirit going if you're trying to stay safe.
1. Virtual Vampire Happy Hour
If you were looking forward to celebrating Halloween at the office but haven't seen your coworkers face-to-face in over seven months; a really fun activity to organize is a virtual happy hour. This can be planned during work hours (per your supervisor's approval of course) or after hours. Your team can schedule it during the week leading up to Halloween weekend as a means to keep the Halloween spirit alive. If you want to make it a team building activity; ask your team to share their favorite spooky drink and have them do a demo during the hour. Your team can vote on who's drink sounds the scariest!

2. Spooky Web Party
Get your friends together after the kids go to bed and set up a spooky web dance party! You can use Facebook live or good old Zoom to host your party. Make sure you tell your friends to dress up and decorate their homes or apartments to be spooktacular. Invite friends to BYOB and BYOF (bring your own boos and bring your own food) to enhance their experience. Have one of your friends DJ the webinar with a fun playlist that everyone will enjoy!
3. Spooky Movie and Mocktails
Not up to party too hard? Totally okay. If you're by yourself or with your BFF, there's nothing like enjoying the night with a movie, popcorn, candy and of course some delicious mocktails!

4. Ghoul's Night In
There's nothing like saying hello to a girls night out for Halloween. Say bye to the kids and the hubby for this nice change to hang out with your favorite girls. Tell your girls to keep their social distancing up two weeks prior to Halloween. If you have really great friends have them get tested for COVID19 prior to meeting up. Invite your girls over or host at one of your friends homes! Enjoy any of the refreshments above and order takeout. Enjoy catching up or here's a list of all sorts of ghouliness you can do:
Watch a Scary Movie and take out
Hire at home pedicures and pop open that Bloody Champagne Bellini
Dress up and have a dance party
Frankenstein Fondue Party
Wine Night! Girls Night!
Board Games and Pizza
Self-Care and Dinner
5. Boos and Baking
Get your friends or your significant other and crack open that wine or drink of choice. Enjoy a night of baking something delicious after the kids go to bed.
