Christmas Rice Crispy Trees and Ornaments Recipe



These no bake, no refrigerator Rice Crispy Trees and Ornaments are an easy 15 step, 15 minute recipe that will have you savoring their flavor for days! It is easy recipe that even your family will want to make.



What you will need to make this recipe:

  • 6 tablespoons of European Salted Butter

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • 6 cups KELLOGG'S Rice Krispies® Cereal

  • 1 1/2 bags of (15oz) Jet- PUFFED Mini Marshmallows

  • 13x9 pan

  • parchment paper

  • 1 bag of vanilla chocolate candy melts

  • Silicon cooking brush

  • 3 teaspoons of liquid food coloring

- Recommended green and pink

  • Sprinkles of your choice

- Recommended Fancy Sprinkles® Vintage Tinel

- Recommended Fancy Sprinkles® Rockafeller






Directions on how to make this recipe:





1. Line the 13x9 pan with wax paper and set aside

2. Place 6 tablespoons of European Salted Butter in the bottom of a large saucepan on low heat. Stir occasionally until butter is fully melted.
















3. Add 10oz or 1 bag of marshmallows and stir until melted. Keep heat on very low and stir. Be sure not to increase heat as this will cause your treats to come out hard.



















4. Let marshmallows melt down






















5. Add in 1 teaspoon of pure Vanilla Extract and stir




















6. Add in food coloring






















7. Once the vanilla extract, food coloring and marshmallows have been mixed and thinned...

















8. Add Rice Krispy Cereal























9. Add remainder of the marshmallows (1/2 a bag)






















10. Mix together until starts to bundle























11. Transfer to the lined 13x9 pan and press down to fit into pan




















12. When done it should look like this. Let cool on countertop for 2 hours


















13. Once cooled, use cookie cutters to cut out circles for ornaments and a knife to shape your trees triangle trees








14. In a saucepan set to low, melt your vanilla chocolate candy wafers. Once fully melted, use a silicon cooking brush to brush the chocolate onto the rice crispy cut-outs.


15. Add the Fancy Sprinkle's stars and balls to the trees and balls to the ornaments to decorate.
