Celebrating Easter for my family is not tied to a religious meaning. For us, Easter has always been about commemorating Spring, bringing together family and friends and admiring the wave of beauty that nature offers during this time of the year. We fill our time by creating crafts, spending time outdoors, and if weather permits, having an outdoor picnic, BBQ or good old egg hunt.
This year, will be the second year celebrating Easter while socially distancing. Last year, we were unable to visit family, but held a scavenger hunt with our neighbors. This year, I am looking forward to continuing the tradition of a socially distanced egg hunt for the kids and maybe a small gathering with my favorite peeps outdoors.
For this Easter blog post, I am wishing you a Happy Easter and giving you recommendations on craft ideas, outfits for the family and what to fill your Easter baskets with!
